Wtf does "marked by the mystery of the Cross" mean? Is that a euphemism for "God didn't help her even though she begged Him and we just don't know why (but He obvi does real u guis believe me mysterious ways and all that)"?

The mystery of the cross lies in the paradox of divine love, where God uses the weakness of a death sentence to achieve salvation, and that God is not found in places of power, but when you are weak and despairing.
I was raised Catholic and I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. The usual word salad.
Seems to be a euphemism for suffering.
