Demands? The guy is still listened by a few hundred millions of imbeciles but still I think he is seriously overestimating his ability to demand anything.

He is the Pope of the Catholic church and absolutely has every right to demand that this senseless war ends.

Right? Yes, as any other guy.
But his "demands" are just words not backed by anything. He doesn't even have hordes of fanatics anymore. You can demand peace too. You have equal rights in this regard. And your demands will have the very same result.

Honestly, even considering however true your assessment is, I'm still here for any prominent political figures who are will to speak unambiguously against war. There are far too few of them.
