Oh, it's worse than that — under South Carolina law a marriage license can be issued to someone as young as 12 if they are pregnant or already have given birth.

🤷‍♂️ I try to think more about California than the red states who have been frothing at the mouth to return to the mid 1800's. This is one of those things that I simply have to turn my brain off to.
