I disagree with Sam Harris on many things, but this quote you think is right wing nonsense was explicitly used by me to defend trans rights AGAINST right wing assholes.

The irony is that the quote was about having the intellectual integrity to defend rational positions regardless of your emotional response, and you failed.

That is not what the quote was alluding to. The quote itself references justice, a social construct of accountability.
