Hi. I’m planning (mostly my partner is doing it but I’m helping see I’m posting something on Lemmy) to visit Scotland and I want to know, from real people, what are the tourist trap I can skip and which one I shouldn’t

Loving all the replies here, very glad to see all the great advice! As an Edinburgh resident I tell every visitor: get out the city! So much more to Scotland :)

It almost doesn't matter where, there is so much to see and do in every corner, and I have never yet been bored for a week visiting some corner of Scotland
