Is it safe to stand on top of a ceramic toilet tank? (lazysoci.al)

I have to reach the ceiling above the toilet but the space between the sink and the toilet is too narrow for my step ladder to fit. It would be for just a couple minutes.

In the past, this number would have been much higher, due to the material from which toilet paper was made. This was shown in a 1935 Northern Tissue advertisement, which depicted splinter-free toilet paper.
