This is literally why I'm trying to get on disability this year, because this will absolutely fuck me as a mid-forties guy with cancer with treatment that costs $18k a month without insurance and who can no longer do a lot of the physical labor jobs I used to do. Also, I was diagnosed shortly after completing a degree, so I never actually got a chance to put my degree to use and now I'm four years past getting my degree and there's no way I could get a job with proper insurance coverage that would cover this treatment without putting me deep into debt.
But I guess I'm just a 29 year old playing video games and trying to scam the government and having fucking cancer is just a weak excuse or something.
