the episodes are indeed getting worse, but they still kept good level of details and inter-connectivity between episodes:

the time machine [and the foldable chairs in it]
reference to Disenchantment
scenes from previous episodes (even those that didn't happen in the timeline, Big Bender)
"fixing" Santa
the double entendre "meat market" joke
