Idiots watch conservative news. Got it.

I mean, we knew that like 100 years ago but. Polls.

Idiots watch conservative news. Got it.

I mean, I don't think this says "Idiots Watch conservative news". Telemundo isn't particularly conservative. CBS was the most Liberal Broadcaster of the Big 3 (hence Ellison's need to buy it out).

I do think this shows US Spanish speakers have more trouble getting into college. And that TV News is more popular among the less educated. But consider that The Atlantic is at the top of the list. And that magazine might as well have been authored by the Cheney administration.

CBS was the most Liberal Broadcaster of the Big 3

You think so? I wouldn’t have agreed, but of course it’s a moot point now. Le sigh.

You think so?

I don't think it was an accident that Dan Rather was the target for the Killian Documents scandal.

I wouldn’t have agreed, but of course it’s a moot point now.

It's a low bar. With ABC controlled by Disney and NBC by Microsoft, it was the last organization that could claim a semblance of independence.

Yeah I thought that was particularly odd because of his refusal to do or say anything to otherwise hurt Gee Dubz during the theft if the election, the obvious corruption, war for nothing, and the destruction of privacy. He was a reliable cog in a giant propaganda machine and they decided to fuck with him.

Kind of reminded me of What’s the frequency Kenneth for no real reason.

Rather was way out in front of all three of these stories.

Was he? Hm. I guess I didn’t watch a lot of tv news then.

those are all conservative news

[-] LodeMike@lemmy.today 11 points 3 days ago

And the New York Times is there too

Now we have to answer the question : are less educated people drawn to right wing news or are conservative news drawn to less educated people ?

I believe that the conventional wisdom here is that higher education tends to expose you to new ideas that directly challenge the conservative mindset.

Personally i think there are a lot of quite intelligent conservative politicians, so i would hazard to guess that they have identified the easiest blocs of general public to influence and sway the votes they require.

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.
