They'll "try". But they will eventually get blocked. The problem is that it can take time to go through the courts, before they get shut down...and elections aren't going to wait. State legislatures need to shore up their own legislation in advance. That way the decisions have already been made, before they try.

this is why they won't say they will because that has a chance of causing congressional or legal action.

This is why state legislatures need to introduce legislation now. Force the Trump administration to challenge them in court, and get a ruling before it's too late.

agreed. I expect to see some but a certain party will call it ridiculous and half another party won't support it.
