I do not know what will happen to the Uyghers tomorrow, but I know what will happen in 150 years. A uni student in Xinjiang will say "We are on unsucceeded Uygher territory." and then an old man will shout "Shut up" and then nothing will be done. When a politician will attempt to rectify the past, they will be labelled as unpatriotic.
