In my opinion the film is much better. The show never really knew where it wanted to go.
I strongly disagree but I think both are good, and worth watching.
Seconded. Watched the movie when it came out and the series felt like a bad copy. I wonder if the good reception came from people who hadn't seen the movie? Maybe not.
