Do folks have recommendations for kids movies, shows, or books that focus on characters friendships?

Recently I picked up the book “the princess bride.” My kid noticed and said she recognized the title. And saw the movie. But she didn’t like it because there was too much fighting. I asked for an example of a good movie. “K-pop demon hunter” was the answer. Because Friendship.

All of that is great. Thanks. For us there is interest in outdoors and camping. And an interest in japanese animation - thanks studio ghibli! Definitely natural links there for us. And even if there wasn’t I bet someone out there would see something of interest.

Encouragement of the Climb and Laid Back Camp are the most recommended outdoor animes I think. I haven't watched either though.

Moribito feels very much like a studio Ghibli film! It also feels like a historical anime even though it has fantasy elements. It's more for 12 or older though.
