IIRC from the Apple lawsuit, though I may be wrong, the issue wasn’t that they were like, always listening. The issue was that it was overly sensitive to trigger words and would sometimes activate and listen when it wasn’t supposed to. I can believe this, because even now the stupid thing will sometimes activate when I didn’t want it to, but NOW it’s very obvious that it has activated, whereas before it wasn’t as obvious.
