Love the passion but need actionable steps. How does a family struggling to make ends meet maintain a general strike? Are there resources to help? Food, financial assistance, strategies for making it work long term, etc.

In the Minneapolis area during the last strike, community had to step up. We are more fired up and personally affected, though.

That’s good to hear. It has to be sustainable. Some sort of union and/or philanthropy group of rich people.

This is a single-day event. Consider it a test run, an opportunity for everyone to get their feet wet, to gain a glimpse of what they could potentially do without.

If this shit continuous, this precursor sets the stage for longer, broader strikes that will have a broader impact.

I get it, but shouldn’t there be systems in place to support a more scalable strike? We could’ve testing that too. Something like a citizen’s union. Like Red Cross but for general strikes.
