This is where we discuss how to repair appliances, large and small. We are not waiting for #right2repair law to be enacted. The civil disobedient practice of repairing instead of wasting and re-buying is welcome here. I will also turn a blind eye toward “piracy” of manufacturer service manuals that are otherwise unavailable to the general public.
Hey I totally get this, but no kids here. Also im not sure punishing them by doing a 1000 year old task we have automated is smart. They could use that time to be learning something. Not that I dont respect the value of hard work, but not hard work thats dumb.
Now if we need to dig a trench to install an ethernet line or some drain tile, by all means have em help!
