If I recall, he referenced China's supposed genocide of Uyghurs and implying the surveillance system in China is a part of doing so. So he's buying into the propoganda that China is genociding Uyghurs, and the notion that China and the US' surveillance are two equally bad evils.
Yeah, he said more than once in recent videos that a surveillance company from Hong Kong is used to profile Uyghurs, and the implication being that there's an Uyghur genocide
