Why not use a mod pack via wabberjack like Viva New Vegas or whatever you prefer and then it is all done for you pretty much.
I don't have patience for spending hours and hours modding and trying to then get the mods to work in a stable fashion so I would never have played New Vegas if it wasn't for things like that!
Wabbajack seems like a nightmare to get functional on Linux, but if I'm wrong please correct me.
I got it working easily on Arch with Jackify, but it needs Nexusmods Premium (you can get a few days for free)
No, it sucks ass to get working. Unfortunately, modding in general sucks ass to get working on Linux overall
I have seen similar modpacks (the ones I saw on my last playthrough didn't cut it); the plan is to try one of them.
