I was thinking of Mavic exactly! I don't recall the model, I think it was Ksyrium that had this type of nipple threading.
Yeah I had a set of Deemax wheels some decade and half ago, and they were just massive PITA.
And I'm dumb, the rim on the pic is an actual Ksyrium. Says it right there. :D
