i thought she was saying she only enjoys sex because of the gamble that it might ruin her life.
To be fair, that would be very in character.
I thought so. (But I haven't played yet.)
I'm pretty sure that is what she's saying. Couldn't imagine enjoying sex without the looming threat.
I'd take this as an indication she is straight and doesn't like using protection.
Nah, the discussion is in the context of her species choosing when to reproduce, but fucking any time they want.
Then that is a very poorly worded sentence.
Hmmm... Nah, it doesn't work. If you flip the double negatives to a double positive, she says "imagine a life where I could partake in the pleasures of sex with the looming threat of bearing children".
Without is not a negative that reverses the first.
