Everyone’s Trek is valid, from TOS purists to Lower Decks shitposters, and you don't get to dictate what is real or not for everyone.

I do think some guys go overboard with shaving. Go full bald when going Statham would probably look better.
Having hair like Picardo look perfectly fine. Jude Law is also increasingly bald, but still looks ok. So do Danny De Vito and JK Simmons. I think it's even possible to pull off a bald head with a mullet. What absolutely does not work, is comb-overs and haircuts that attempt but fail to hide the balding.
