Maybe, but at least there is enough public transport to lock up. There's not enough in most of the USA to be noticeable.
No school buses around?
The public aren't still allowed to ride school buses there, are they? Child protection duties have ended that in many places.
Ouch.
Sometimes, and increasingly, no.
