This isn't added to Summit for a few reasons.
(1) translation services typically are not free. if I were to add this I will need to have it behind a subscription service to cover the cost.
(2) most devices these days have built in translation tools to translate what you see on screen
Is it possible to do a purely local translation function? Just like Firefox, it uses a local thesaurus and does not need to rely on network services.
Thesaurus lists synonyms and antonyms. If you mean like a local translating dictionary, that would be way too big and it would also probably suck. There are already apps you can get that will add this functionality as well that will probably work way better than anything I implement.
