The co-chairs mention the Zohran campaign had some disconnect between NYC dsa and them (the co-chairs, of dsa national i think?) can anyone explain that?

NYC-DSA has a fairly different political makeup than a lot of the rest of the chapters and chapters are generally very independent from national (See AOC being dropped by national and NYC still endorsing her).

Effectively, there is the funny situation of NYC having little to reign Zohran in with, and national has little to reign NYC in with.
