I'm playing the following following platinum rom hack, so its been fun having my Pokémon follow me around.
Just beat the elite four so now I'm probably wrapping up my time with the game, and will eventually move on to gen 5 (I'm playing through each gen moving through the regions, I've not really played any modern games so I'm looking forward to trying them :)

I think I was mistaken that renegade is compatible with following platinum, here's it's page if you're interested in something that makes more changes and adjusts the difficulty curve :)
