I do sometimes wonder, if the tv isn't recording what I do on my pc.
Also, RTFM. It took me 5 years to realize that the reason HDR wasn't working on my tv, is because it only works if I plug my pc in to the third hdmi port.
Yea what is with the tv manufactures not making hdmi 1 the "feature" input. It makes no sense to me! Make 1 the best and sort the others to worst.
Maybe its a residue from "turn to channel 3 to see aux input"? Only halfway /s
Some smart TVs do perform content recognition on all input channels, but you should be safe as long as it doesn't connect to WiFi. See my other comment in this thread for more info.
