Man I'm not even vegan, but cattle farms in orbit is peak carnist nonsense
Oh my God I've never heard this one but it's so stupid it's very funny to me.
I know! I mean do they have any idea hiw much a cattle ranch costs to set up and maintain on Earth? Where grass grows out of the ground and there's oxygen and a water cycle all just happening. Do they have any concept of what it would take to put all that in space. How much does it cost to send shit to space per pound? A full grown steer is over 1,000 pounds!
Absolutely, especially the outsized amount of meat eaten in the US.
Someone was trying to tell me recently that all of the studies about the amount of water required to sustain cattle ranches are wrong, “because of the four stomachs of the cow.” I found them too incoherent to even argue with and have no idea what they meant or where they picked up that one. Some carnivore diet guru, I guess.
Even if they needed less water, theres absolitely 0 water in space. Yeah, sounds like some weird cope to me
