See, I'm torn. On one hand, I feel like this 'us vs. them' mentality contributes to the sort of tribalism that ultimately results in movements like MAGA popping up. If these people can only operate in MAGA-friendly spaces, they'll rarely speak to anyone who disagrees with them, and will have no reason to reflect on their worldview.

Then I read the news. If current events aren't enough to convince them that they're misguided, I'm not sure that anything will.

I'm not sure I know what the solution is, but it's been an interesting discussion.
