you hate to see it. You could have taken command of one of the juiciest mayoral seats in the world, could made a fucking mark on the nation's history. you could have had your own Red Guards one day if you called for them, the people are hungry man... they would defend you if you fed them.

Instead you will enjoy being bending over to the demands of your class enemies everyday. you were too libshit to embrace the beautiful power of the dictatorship of the proletariat, now your destiny is the dustbin like every other "social democratic" loser.

the chauvinism just means he's not our guy, but he was never the revolution. he's still promising to materially improve peoples' lives and the bad international positions don't matter for a mayor.

All politicians promise to improve people's lives. He is a Democrat, tows the line of imperialism, walks back his good positions on geopolitics, promises material improvements which if successful are still just charity hand outs and not a step towards socialism.

not even just walking back on geopolitics. He's never actually confronted the primary contradiction in domestic NYC politics which is the fascist NYPD cartel army that is the TRUE power in the city. Nothing can be changed until that is confronted, but he walked back everything oppositional to them. If he's not willing to engage in that struggle he has already surrendered

no they don't. harris didn't. biden didn't. mamdani made concrete and specific proposals that are not at all the same as the pell grant operating a buisness in an underserved community bullshit that we've been getting from regular democrats for a decade

Just because you didn't like their promises doesn't mean they weren't making them. It is totally dishonest to say that politicians aren't at least saying they will do things that they think will improve people's lives. That's how they get elected. They promise to protect immigrants, they promise to fight climate change, they promise to protect women and LGBTQ, they promise to end wars, they promise to wipe student debt, etc

They might not promise it in a coherent way, with any plan for how to make it happen or explanation for how it would work, but you are really going to sit here and say they don't promise things?
