I recently saw an ad for biscoff and I was surprised that people would eat them randomly. The only time I ever eat biscoff is on a plane when the flight attendant gives me some. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love them but I rarely think about it as something I can just go buy in a store. Seeing the ad was so jarring because to me it doesn't feel like something I should eat a lower altitudes

I blow on the top of soda cans before opening them.

When I was very young I’d ride to and from school and it took me past my grandparents. During summer I’d stop in on the way home to grab a soda and because they kept them in a shed out back they’d get dusty before getting put in the fridge. So I’d blow the dust off and make sure the top is clean, fast forward 25 years and I still do it.

TW: spiders

I do this too, because my parents did it. I made it a conscious habit after I found a tiny spider skeleton right under the opening of a can I'd already started drinking out of. Now I at least check, usually blow, sometimes rinse.

I actually do the same thing. A lot of cans that I get from convenience stores are covered it dirt and gunk. I'll usually blow on the top or rinse the can.
