Having just watched Berserk a couple of weeks ago, I can now understand these memes.
Didn't even scratch the surface.
Yeah I’m aware how lacking the animated versions are.

please pick up the manga and read the Hawk of the Millennium Empire arc (Volumes 22-35). only then will you truly hate Griffith.
the first part of the arc has been animated as Season 2 of the 2016 version, but i haven't exactly heard high regard for that version
