It's because they are thin skinned milk sops who will cry incivility at the mereest of insults. I grew up round them and still live amongst them, the number of them who I've gotten to throw a fit by being a blasé ass is frankly amazing, I don't even have to try just speaking shitty Latin is enough to piss them off.
