Fake Sausage Egg McMuffin

It's tricky to see but the egg has been cooked in a buttered cookie mold to make it circular like the eggs on a mcmuffin. We were out of the usual sausage patties that are larger so this is actually two smaller patties frankensteined to look nice.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, I meant splitting the muffins. Usually I have rolled or steel cut oats on hand. The recipe works well with only regular or integral (whole wheat) flour too. I just usually add some other grain as well because I like the flavor it brings
