Plus there are various other flavours that are frankly better. It adds some fizz which I find lacking in the original, dilutes the overbearing flavor and makes the glass last longer. I usually sip on it through the morning. Actual athletes would never touch a monster lol (I think they tone down the fizz so that it looks more like a sports drink), but I don't drink coffee but still enjoy caffeine in the morning to wake up.
