But if you stand about an earth orbit minus earth radius away from the sun and a moon orbit minus earth radius away from the moon, their apparent size is within a range that includes them looking exactly the same size (since both the earth's and moon's orbits are slightly elliptical, so it varies a bit with either one potentially looking bigger than the others).
