not if he strokes out first from the DVT sending a clot. he most likely will be on anti-clotting medication long term.

[-] Bronzebeard@lemmy.zip 1 points 7 months ago

So the next shattered plate could be his last?

[-] Neverclear@lemmy.dbzer0.com 17 points 7 months ago

Yes, but also liver and kidney. They attributed the bruising on his hands to frequent hand shaking or aspirin use. Aspirin use is pretty hard on the liver. If we could see his natural skin color, jaundice could narrow it down to liver failure.

How would you know if he had jaundice with all the orange paint and all?

[-] RagingRobot@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago

I think it also effects the eyes

[-] Alaik@lemmy.zip 10 points 7 months ago

Pedal edema is a sign of heart failure yes.

Look, I know the world will be a better place without this clown, but this just isn't how health risk works. Most smokers don't get lung cancer. Most drinkers don't get liver disease. Most people who die young don't have any especially unhealthy habits. Life just isn't fair in this way and pretending it is denigrates a lot of good people who are suffering.
