I've not read the whole thing yet, but from what I've digested so far there are some very accurate criticisms of Canada's premier Trotskyist organisation, RCP (formerly Fightback).
There was a split in the Canadian org three years ago
and this document is the result of that split.
As someone who spent a considerable number of years trapped in this cult it is relieving to see that others have also managed to break away from it and finally see the org for what it is: a parasite.
The IMT/RCI is so much worse than I had imagined. I thought they were mostly just a useless, sheepdogging leech of an organization, but they've done so much to actively undermine the class struggle. It's certainly worth a read, even if it does levy accusations of "Stalinism" and dedicates an entire section to focus on the right of self determination to the province of Quebec. In their defence, they dedicate even more space to the indigenous peoples' right to self determination.
Arguably their worst quality is their grooming. They found that the easiest way to get new recruits is to prey on young, impressionable college students. A lot of them are new to the city they're in too, so they have very few friends and are very impressionable. They then get sucked into this cult and their whole social structure is dependent on "the org" for years to come. It then becomes exceedingly difficult to leave, because not only are they leaving "the org" but also what amounts to their entire social circle.
