Weather dotcom has premium gatekeeping and Accuweather just kinda sucks

EDIT: i just remembered not everyone is ND and doesn't get really super into every topic enough to care about things like meteorology :[

Doesn’t have an app that I know of so I use my phone’s browser

Because AccuWeather's lobbying efforts have resulted in NOAA being prohibited from competing with "value-added" private-sector weather services.

I have my city bookmarked there, and the radar. Plus they have the best warnings. Not to mention that other sites use their data as well.

My guess is because it's not a company. NOAA didn't have to make money because it's government.
