Why are Labour so desperate to placate the boomers who fled to Reform? The Tories lost way more of them anyway, and they’re not coming back as long as Nige has a gravy train to ride. How about using the parliamentary majority, no matter how frail, to begin fixing the country?

to begin fixing the country?

The country only appears in need of fixing from the perspective of those without money or power. That is, you and me. From the perspective of the people running the country, who have both money and power, the country is working fine and there's nothing that needs fixing.
