if violence has no place in our political system, then we should completely demiltarize, right? and cops should be disarmed. that's some big savings right there we can put into healthcare, housing and food access right?

oh, you just mean workers shouldn't be allowed to do defend themselves from the structural violence of capitalists and their attack dogs, which should continue to enjoy the lion's share of budget line items with bipartisan support. got it.
