To hold power at the higher levels of government means that person is almost certainly corrupt. Also, people are people. All major world powers have committed genocides as far as I know. America - start with the Indians, throw in AIDS and gay men, and there are a bunch more. England - India. French - pick an African country. Russia - Ukraine, more than once. China - Uyghr and Buddhists.

Here's a thought. All this genocide enabling you think you see in people like me. I moved my family halfway across the country after saving for years because I was afraid of what might be coming. The rhetoric is the same as pre-war Germany. I fear genocide much closer to home.
