I didn't started this community, just took it over when Civ VII was announced, I saw the original mod stopped using lemmy.

There weren't much conversations here since, mostly just reposts of news and reviews. But since Civ VII was released the amount of articles diminished, so I don't expect a lot of content to be posted here in the near future.

What should happen to this community?

  • I moved to to lemmy.zip, if there is some interest I can recreate this community over there.
  • There are several other Civ communities on the lemmyverse, I can add a note/post to redirect people there. And I can continue posting the occasional news to those communities.

Other civ communities:

I can see on lemmy.ca they frequently appoint mods from other instances here: [email protected] so using it as a new community would be possible, as I won't register there.

I read more about it, it was a reddit mirror instance, but it seems like they stopped copying comments after a while. Some instances may still block them.
