Is all AI-generated content considered slop?
If someone adds to the AI output in a way that creates something interesting it wouldn't be slop. Like taking AI output as a base and cleaning up the defects and adding details could be art in the same way that adding or remixing existing media can be art.
This particular image is absolute slop. He has troll doll hair instead of feathers around his neck and on his head. The lighting sucks. The textures suck. The makeup sucks. The smiling out of focus people in the background suck.
I have only seen a few AI images that were not easily recognizable as slop, and that was because they were a direct rip off of talented artists and if they were done as an algorithm the quality would have been higher.
