I don't necessarily want to assume the worst from people, but given some past experiences with other Hexbears being ignorant or brainwormed when posting, I've become a bit cautious in situations like when a joke just doesn't quite make sense. Call it being the fun police, or call it a vibe check, but in any case any variant of "it's just a joke, get over it" will make me raise an eyebrow — that is, after all, the favorite refrain of workplace sexual harassment.
But you've disengaged now, and if you say that you don't conflate SLs and MCLs, then I'll take you at your word.
