Lying to smear a role model is uncivil, as is whataboutism.

Not that it's going to stop you from spreading disinformation to suit your agenda, but just to set the record straight:

Contrary to the rampant online rumors, Greta Thunberg’s net worth is estimated to be $100,000 as of 2025. Unlike many public figures, Thunberg does not profit from her activism. She has made it clear multiple times that any earnings from her book sales or speeches go directly to charity.

One particularly popular yet unfounded rumor is that she is set to inherit $10 million from her parents, opera singer Malena Ernman and actor Svante Thunberg. However, Swedish income tax records—which are publicly available—show that her parents are not millionaires. While they may be considered comfortably upper-middle class, their wealth has been grossly exaggerated by misinformation campaigns.

FYI, FreedomAdvocate is a prolific fascistic sealion. Their MO is stringing people along with bad faith arguments in an attempt to waste their time. You’re better off ignoring them and reporting where appropriate.

That's alright, I figured that I would lay out some facts (some of which people genuinely wanting to know more might not be aware of) while making fun of the fascist and THEN report all the disinformation, so that's what I did.

Thanks for the heads up, though, untimely as it may be 😁🤜

Lmao my comment got removed for "incivility" (what was uncivil about it? Genuine question, all I did was literally just pointed out what the dude would- and did- do, and he's still here, so...)

Am I the only one finding it SUS that the only mod for a "progressive politics" community is a dude named 'TokenBoomer' lmao.
