Eh. As i recall it the rules at home went "if you're well enough to play video games, then you can go to school"
Different times.
At least you had video games.
Well yeah. A hand-me-down nes with Mario. We were allowed to watch re-runs and vhs though. I saw a lot of "Sunset beach" and "Dr Quinn" while home from school.
That's still infinitely more Mario than none Mario.
