In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.

- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

MODERATORS
While I am a very happy mullvad VPN user this offering doesn't seem very comparable to say a searxng instance especially a self hosted one.
This is more private in some ways because more people use it. If you host your own searxng instance, Google/Brave/Bing can guess it's the same person that searches for all the things using the IP of your server.
so you have the ultra-cheap Mullvad service and it is fast enough for you? This is the same one where I can send in cash to Mullvad to pay - umm, the super-anonymous Mullvad VPN?
