MODERATORS
People use discord spaces for the same reason. They have a discord that is their "home" discord and it forms the basis of coping strategies with lack of local community. These are real communities for all intents and purposes, with all the drama you usually get from communities with mixed groups of people that sometimes clash or grumpy days people get, just ones that solely exist in the digital space.
