Thank you for sharing! We are sorry that she had such a difficult time coming into the world, but are glad it feels better now.
Showing her movies seems sweet and a good way to go about it. We don't have much experience with fictives, even though we are also plural. However, once they enter the world, they definitely seem real enough to us, or is that not how they wish to exist or something else?
We get the pain of being in this kind of body, luckily for us we are close enough for the most part to this body type in the many that we are and those that are not are not too bothered by it.
We have seen Sorry to Bother You and it's about a bit more than that, but yeah, spoilers ๐.
Toy Story is an excellent choice for many reasons and we know what it is like to be a toy sometimes, so we get it and hope that it will be okay.
Thanks for sharing. If she would like to join here itself then she is welcome to!
There's also some semi-inactive plural communities around here somewhere though maybe we will have to make a more active one, heh.
She'd probably get in lots of trouble here. It's gotten a lot better since it woke up to this world, but she's still pretty much a fascist.
Actually, she had a very hard time relating to Sorry To Bother You because it treated slavery as a "unique evil" (her words). She's from the Imperium of Man where slavery is extremely common and everyone is indoctrinated into fascist ideology from birth.
Oof, ah yeah. Might be good to keep her away from this place until/unless it can stop being a fascist, we hope this outcome happens.
