This is a community for all things Moomin.
The Moomins is a franchise created by finnish author/illustrator Tove Jansson. It features a vast amount of comics, TV series, movies, books and games, telling various stories mostly set in moominvalley.

Moomin is the brother of Snork-maiden or am I wrong? He is acting like a jalous boyfriend.
No. They're not even the same species.
Snorkmaidens brother would be the Snork.
In most depictions Snorkmaiden and Moomin are a naive couple.
That's explaining this. But why is the living with Moomin and his parents? That's his parents alright?
In the context of this story, the Moomins and Snorkmaiden are on a trip to the rivieras.
I thought they were living together already but I also thought they were brother or sister. So...
Their homes are in Moomin valley. Snorkmaiden lives with her brother, while the Moomins (Moomin, Mamma and Pappa) live in the aptly named Moomin house.
They do not have a home on the riviera. They moved into a hotel room for a bit, which they are not aware they will have to pay for. They saw the welcome sign outside the hotel and thought it was just someone offering a place to stay out of kindness, as that is typically the logic they operate under when receiving guests in their home.
The hotel staff in turn simply thinks they are eccentric millionaires.
